Discount Car and Truck Rentals is currently searching for an Account Executive to represent three locations throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality by servicing existing corporate accounts as well as searching for new business.

Duties

• Service existing corporate accounts (20% of time)
• Searching for new corporate accounts (80% of time) by prospecting through the internet, yellow pages, business directories as well as driving around the areas that stores are located in
• Following up on leads supplied by the store managers and customer service representative
• Assisting the store managers and customer service representatives in the early morning and late afternoon with any customer needs

Qualifications
The ideal candidate should work well on their own and be willing to spend some time traveling throughout HRM plus occasional trips to other areas of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick for special projects. The ideal candidate should also be open to making cold calls which is a major part of this position. Being extremely organized with great customer service skills and follow up will lead to great rewards in this position.
